Hazel is a catch all term used in North America to describe an eye iris that has a background colour of blue, green or brown with flecks, spots, rings or patches of another colour.

There are various shades of blue, green or brown. Generally, if the eye is all brown, whether yellow brown, honey brown, orange brown, dark, brown it is called brown. If the brown has flecks or spots of blue or green then it is called hazel.

Eye colour naming is not precise and subject to local variation.

i think honey brown will do it

Hope this helps! :)

I have hazel eyes...Sometimes they look more bluish, sometime greener. It depends...I have gotten quite a few compliments on their color. I'm very happy with my color eyes. Sorry no pics to share.

hazel eyes are greenish brown. The person who provided a link gave a perfect example of a hazel eye.

Yellow eyes?????

I think my eyes are considered hazel (no ones been able to answer what color my eyes are yet), mine are goldish around the pupil, then yellow-green. Mine aren't mixed or anything though, like the picture the other person gave, mine literally look like different colored rings.

Hazel to me always means brown and green, mixed in some way.
