What vision might i have? answer quick plz!?!
Question: okay so i am near sighted, i can see clearly up to about 5 feet in front of me, and 10 feeet i can still see but its a little fuzzy. with contacts i have near perfect vision. what might my vision be without contacts? 30/20? help?

Since 20/20 means you can see clearly at 20 feet and beyond. 20/40 usually means you can see half the distance or 10 feet away and 20/80 would mean you can see 5 feet away. But this is innacurate since when your nearsighted everything a few feet or more away is going to be less clear then wearing your contacts. So if you can see 10 feet away but not clearly your probably about 20/40.

i was -6.5 and i reckon i could see clearly to about 2 ft. my friends eyes aren't so bad, sound similar to yours, he is about a -3.5 prescription
