Who do a persons eyes go bloodshot?!
Question: Why is it that when I smoke weed my eyes go bloodshot? I know that irritation will cause blood vessals in the eye to expand, giving the appearance of being blood shot. But when i smoke marijuana, nothing comes into contact with my eye. How does this happen?

The smoke from the second hand doescome in contact with your eye. And the substances in the smoke cause blood vessels to dilate all over your body. Your eye is all part of it. Smoking weed is something that effects all the systems in your body and there is so much we do not know about it and its effects. But we do know that it makes EVERYone's eyes blood shot and it is not something that is new.

not all peoples eyes get bloodshot but most peoples do. i dont know why stop asking and put the eye drops on.
