My left eye is blurry with my glasses but with contacts i'm fine. what do i !

Question: My vision has always sucked but i started wearing my contacts again after a long while. It was crystal clear but now when i wear my glasses my left eye is blurry. And the weirdest thing is my night vision is even now and great. Help me with maybe some home remedies or something to fix it. Otherwise i guess i have to go to the doctor.

From what you said...it seems obvious that the prescriptions aren't the same in both your glasses and contacts.

You didn't notice there was anything wrong with the glasses until you had something to compare it with.

There is no reason for the glasses to be blurry unless the Rx is different.

Are.....your... glasses dirty?

Are the glasses supposed to be the same as the contacts? Many contact lens wearers will not always update their glasses when they get a new Rx. The excuse is " I hardly ever wear them", so the end result is often what you are experiencing. If they are supposed to be the same then you need to get that corrected. Contacts generally are a little sharper than glasses, but not that drastic. Like footprintz said, you may not have realized it until you had something to compare.

Your left eye's vision may have changed since you used to wear your glasses. Which means you only notice your vision to be worse with the glasses because your contact prescription is updated while your glasses aren't. Also, if your wearing RGP lenses your cornea can temporarily be a different shape which sometimes can cause blurrying vision when you take them off. Probably your best bet is to talk with your doctor about it.

Your glasses are not up to date.
