Is windex bad for lenses on glasses? I dont do that, but ...?!

Question: Windex is made for cleaning glass, chrome, counter tops...ect....not plastic.

It could damage the coatings on your lenses, plus it gets between the lens and the frame and turns it all green...looks terrible.

If real lens cleaner isn't available, then warm water with a spot of liquid dish soap works very well.

but what? You shouldn't use windex, as it's too hard for your glasses. I agree with the person above, you should use plain water with a soft cotton cloth.
