Medical reasons to have strabismus surgery?!
Question: if anyone has had the surgery or works in this field, can you tell me some of the reasons that you have or can get strabismus for other reasons besides cosmetic? i had a surgery about 20 years back and now since i am a very stressed out single mom and have a demanding carreer, it seems that my eye over the past 3 years has turned outward a bit. I do nothing but read and type contracts, and i am at the computer a good 60 hours a week. I notice that my eyes water a lot while i am working and lets not get started on the headaches. I do as much as i can to avoid eye contact, i actually broke up with a man who make a joke that was not directed towards me, but hurt just as much.
can anyone share there reasons why u had surgery? and please no answers telling me surgery does not work, i know my facts im just looking for other stories like mine, thank you

One good reason for having surgery if you need it is to try to attain clear comfortable binocular vision.
