Eye Infection Question?!

Question: I have these things in my eye that I was prescribed drops for. I never would take my contacts out so I got blood vessels on my eye then I got little bumps the Doctor said was in relation to that and happens to contact wearers. He said they would never go away and would sometimes flare up. I have the drops still and Im having a flare up and wanted to know if it was wise to use the drops. Im a little on the outs with the doctor so calling him wouldnt be good. lol. Thanks!

Did the drops you have work for you last time and are your symptoms exactily the same? If yes then If the drops have not been opened it should be ok but most eye drops have a shelf life (time you can use them after opening them) of between 1 week and 1 month. I would be able to give you a clearer answer if you know the name of the drop! Also if you still wear contact lenses you should stop wearing them until your eyes are better.
I know you dont want to call your doctor (and my advice is only if you absolutly wont consider it) but you only get one pair of eyes so would say you can never be too careful and should really call him/her.

Use the prescribed drugs. Make sure there is safe condition and unopened.
If the flare up is a problem get to a doctor now.
