Ordering Contacts Online, what to put if my axis options are not available?!

Question: My new script reads:
Axis R 103 and Axis L 88
However, I see that at visiondirect.com I can only put in integrals of tens. What should I do? Round up?

Also does anyone recommend a good online supplier - reliable, good cost...
Thank you.

The only way you could have an axis like that is if you are trying to get a Gass permiable hard contact.... OR... if you are using your glasses prescription to try and order lenses.

Even if you have a slight astigmatism you may actual wear what they would call spherical or non toric lenses.

What you need to do is clarify with your dr if you were examined for contacts or not. More than likely you know if you did because depending on the dr and your RX you would have paid up to $100 more for your fitting and followups and given lenses to take home and try out. So if this is the case contact your DR about getting a contact lens fitting.

Also know that contact lens prescriptions are very directive. They regulate 4 things.
1. the brand of lens
2. the base curve of the lens
3. the diameter of the lens
4. and the RX

so it is important that you are using contacts that are perscribed by the DR to insure you don't damage your eyes.

There are lots of online distributors for contact lenses. However a lot of retailers will price match. So print out the best offer you see on your contacts and try a lenscrafters walmart or other chain to see if they will, then in most cases you deal with a person and get the price you wanted. In some cases walk out with your lenses in your hand.

you should also note that typically lenses will be cheaper when ordering an entire year supply.

I actually use VisionDirect. They deliver in a timely fashion, and since I have been ordering from them, I never purchased in a store and the prices are good.

That is an Rx for glasses you have, not for contacts.

You can't order conrtacts with that, some other changes may have to be made to the power, besides the axis.
