I work under a computer all day. I have did LASIK, how can I maintain my vision.!

Question: Am working in an MNC which requires atleast 10 hours under computer per day. When I entered this work field my vision power was minus 4 and minus 4.5. After 2 years into this industry, my power increased to minus 6 and minus 6.5, after which I did epiLASIK. My vision in the left eye is absolutely okay (20/20) but then the right eye is a little blurred (may be 20/60). My doctor told me that there are chances that my vision could improve within 3 months but in vain. I was following up for the first 3 months which is necessary, but then due to very busy schedule, I could not follow up then. Still my vision in the right is a little blurred. As my left eye has better vision, I feel that I see more through my left than right, in sense I concentrate more through my left eye and I feel that I am straining my left eye. Is this just my imagination? What should I do to maintain my vision being a computer professional. Need answer please.

I had LASIK done about 2 months ago. It takes a couple of months for your eyes to completely heal, during which time your sight will naturally fluctuate anyway. A common symptom is dryness. I have found that sitting in front of a computer intensifies this problem as my eyes become very dry when I've been on my computer for hours. I mentioned this to my optician and I was given drops and a gel to use - which together keep my eyes hydrated and comfortable. I would recommend the same to you - if your eyes are dry your vision too is affected.

probably the effect of lasik must have worn out a bit in your right eye.
Anyways, contact your doctor. Also to maintain your vision properly, use a radiation protector in front of your monitor. After say every 1 hr, close your eyes and do some massage. Carry I-TONE, which are ayurvedic eye drops. put them 2-3 times during your working hrs.. not more that 2-3 times.
Also, try to have a healthy diet consisting of maximum of vitamin A. Raw carrots are the best source for Vitamin A which can help maintain eyes healthy.

hey we need money for many thing s but dont spoil ur health
use some filters on the screans so that they are harm-less
eat lot of green spinach
thats good for ur eyes carrot
and lot of vitamin A viggis
have fun

First make habit to blink eye lashes twice or trice in each minute. Keep watching around during your work. Use display protector glass. Try to watch on a long distance for a moment after a sort duration. Increase your display distance with you as much as you can read. Increase font size and Icons on your computer that will make ease to watch and read. You must discuss this problem with your doctor. Read this topic in Help guidelines in Menu bar. I hope this will be helpful for you.

rest ur eyesight when u r tired. Use eye drop as often to the eyes.

Id go back and for the money you paid have him touch up that eye.
