Will I still be able to use contacts even though I have VERY poor eyesight?!

Question: My vision is really bad. While I'm driving, the 'Avenue' signs are blurry.

I am VERY nearsighted, and have worn contacts with no trouble for years and years.....go for it!
I wear the kind you can leave in for 30 days, 24/7 and then you toss 'em and put a new pair in. They are great, especially with my nearsightedness, because without them, EVERYTHING is a blur lol

That's what contacts are made for.

If your vision can be corrected with glasses, it almost always can be with contacts also....and often , better.

Contacts can be fitted for prescriptions between -20 and +20, which is really, really bad vision (most people are within + or - 2ish)

So yes, even if you have horrible uncorrected vision, if it is a simple refractive error corrected by glasses, you will be able to wear contacts.

Yes, there are contacts that are suitable for people who have very high degree like -15.00
