Is He going to go Blind??!

Question: My husband and I were outside in the creek yesterday and while playing with our kids he
Ran into a stick about as big around as my ring finger with his eye WIDE open.
A peice of wood, very thin, about just under a 1/4inch long came out of his tear duct last night, but he can't see at all.
He said it was completely blurry and getting worse. And any pressure at all hurts it.

I am going to try to make him go to the hospital today to get it looked at, but he is fighting me on going... so I thought I would see if anyone had any insight.

Thank You :)

He needs to go to the ER immediately. It's getting worse, this alone should be enough to get that stubborn man to the hospital!!

take him to the ER!!!!!

Take. Him. Right. Now.

Longer you wait, more likely he would have lasting vision problem and the fact that its getting worse is a VERY bad sign. Many bad eye injuries can make full recoveries with speedy treatment.

Why in the world is he fighting you on going?! Ask him why he is resisting it when its such a serious consequence.

Take him to hospital now, in an ambulance if necessary. It could make the difference between saving his sight or blindness. If he gets a serious infection even the other eye is at risk. I can't believe he won't go - that's crazy, eyesight is so precious.

DOnt wait another minute- take Him NOW!
