Any RGP contact wearer think they slow down myopia progression?!
Question: I was just wondering because I've just started wearing them and it seems that my vision is more constant with glasses. With glasses after reading a long time my vision would get out of focus. So far with these contacts they seem to keep my eye in focus better. It could be temporary as you wear them but it seems like it does prevent your vision from changing.

everyone's health is different but for me, I wore soft contacts for awhile and my prescription kept changing...i started at -3.00 and it progressed to -5.00 in about 2 years so my optometrist changed me to RGPs and it's been 10 yrs now and my Rx has only changed by 0.25 D so I would say yeah the RGPs helped slow down my myopic Rx
