Help With Getting Glasses?!
Question: I am 60 years old, have been on Disability for about 7 years, have no vision benefits, wear tri-focals, and have not had a new pair of glasses or an eye exam for about 11-13 years. About 3 months ago I broke my glasses and have been wearing ones from Big Lots. I can get them for about $1.50 a pair there. I wear one strength to drive with (I only drive if I HAVE to), I wear a different strength pair to read with, and a different strength pair to be on the computer with. It is now to the point that these are not working for me any longer. I have talked with my case worker at DHHR and she was really rude to me and didn't help with a solution. The Lion's Club does not have a phone number listed. AARP has a program, but I can't afford to pay even a small amount on the amount of my fixed income. Can anyone please suggest any program available. I have done some internet searches but nothing comes up even remotely close to my city in West Virginia. Thank you ~D

I think I found the correct site for the Lion's club in your area. It has a few number listed:

In the mean time, I will do more research*
