Glasses and two weeks?!

Question: Ok, my question is... I just got my glasses yesterday and when I look through them, yes everything looks clearer, but when I look at a light pole or anything in general it looks like it is a bit slanted like the wind is blowing it...
The Doctor told me my eyes will adjust, is she correct?
It is hard to explain, I see better, yet, things look a little crossed.
I have Astigmatism BTW...

Yes you will get used to it, sounds like your astigmatism has got a little stronger (or you've never worn glasses before).
It happens to most people, allow a couple of weeks, longer if you are not wearing them all the time. You'll be fine, but until you've adjusted take care walking up steps and driving.

glasses are tough. your eyes will adjust but then your vision gets worse.

I wear glasses sometimes and have astigmatism as well. Never really saw anything slanted though..

If your glasses makes you dizzy i know you should definitely go back and get the prescription changed!. I had to do that a couple of times.

Yes, it is not uncommon to take a couple of weeks to adjust your eyes to a new pair of prescription eyeglasses.

I think that your eye's might have to get adjusted to your glasses!! If you still have problems in another week, then I would go back to your doctor for a check up!! St@y Cool!!

Your eyes will adjust for sure. It happens to me everytime I get a new prescription.

Some people take a little longer time to adjust to new glasses. Dont be too much bothered about it.
