I have this same problem only mine look like bacteria or chromosomes. I had a chat with Lasiks and they told me that this is something that they cannot correct and to go to an eye specialist and get corrective lenses. This is something that is directly in the orb itself.

This happens to me too. But only on occasion for a couple of seconds.

I have them but they dont last long

We all have floaters, they are just vitreous strands that have bunched together. You only see the shadow of them as they pass through the light that enters your eye... There is no way to get rid of them, they are just part of humans to have them. Now a sudden on set of a bunch of them.... where it looks like coffee grounds in water, there is a problem and you need to get to an ophthalmologist asap.

I get rid of them by eating. I don't know what the connection is, but I only get them when I haven't eaten enough. So if you only have floaters sometimes, try having a good meal - it might help. If you have them often, you should probably see an optometrist.

Everyone does, its the shadow of goops of gel in your eyes. Theyre just annoying, they do anything. Not really anything you can do about them, but have you ever noticed when youre with friends or doing something fun you dont notice them? You can read about it here: http://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions...

Viterous Floaters are normal process that the eye goes through. It can cause retinal detachment which can damage your vision. If you see flashes of light in your periphery ,veil, curtain effect, or more floaters then normal get in to see an ophthalmologist or retinologist ASAP within 24hrs. Floaters dont go away ! people just tend to ignore them after time. You can have what is called a vitrectomy, which is done by an retinologist but theres no gurantee they will go away and sometimes causes more of them. Good luck! this should be taken seriously!

Yes, I do, but I do not know much about them. I told my optomistrist. He stared into my eyes with the pen light micro-thingy for a very long time, and said that they were harmless tiny specs of dust.
