Eye Problem! Help!?!
Question: my fiance has been complaining that his eye has been hurting for the past two days. today at work they sent him to see the nurse and she said there was something white on the color part of his eye? what could this be. they told him to go to the ER so hes on his way there now.

If the nurse saw it without any instruments, it's probably an inflammation of the cornea known as keratitis. In its more serious form it can be a corneal ulcer. Either way I suspect that the on-call ophthalmologist or ophthalmology resident will get a phone call from the ER staff within the next few hours.
I guess your fiance is getting all the help he needs right now.
As soon as he gets back, you will know exactly what it was.
The description doesn't really explain much, but the Dr's at the ER will have a much better idea.
