For those of you who have / had TRANSITIONS LENSES?!
Question: in your presciption glasses - do you like them? Are they irritating? Does it take a long time for them to darken/lighten when walking in/out of buildings? Would you recommend them to someone who was thinking about getting them?

They do take a couple of minutes to change when you go inside a building, but not really any longer than it would take to stop, remove your sunglasses, put them away in a case in your purse, then put on clear ones.
They change to dark outside a lot faster than they clear up inside...but that is a small disadvantage for the comfort they give.
I sell a lot of them and have very few complaints...and those are from the same people who find it too much of a hassle to have 2 separate pairs, one clear, one for the sun.
So, some people can't be pleased either way....lol
yes, I love mine.. it does take a little while for them to lighten when walking in to a building. I only wished mine worked while driving.
HAD THEM AND IT NEVER GOT DARK ENOUGH WHILE OUTSIDE FOR ME AND IT TOOK LONG TO ADJUST COMING IN SOMEWHERE DARK.
I JUST BOUGHT THE SUNGLASSES THAT HUG MY GLASSES THIS WAY I CAN CONTROL IT BETTER. I PAID LIKE $ 10 AT WAL-MART. SUGGEST YOU HOLD YOUR FRAMES UP TO THE LENSES TO MAKE SURE RIGHT SHAPE AND SIZE FOR YOUR GLASSES.
I love mine, and wouldn't get another pair of glasses without the transition lenses. I personally don't mind that they don't get super dark outside-they're dark enough for me.
I love mine. Absolutely. I especially love them with AR coating applied.
