Is this Rx bad eyesight?!

Question: What does this mean & is this a strong prescription?
I am reading the RX off:-

OD- Sphere pl/cylinder -1.25/axis 12
OS- Sphere -0.25/cylinder -200/axis 177

Is this prescription bad?
What does pl mean under sphere as well?

Pl means plano which is zero power. Your prescription is not necessarily very strong. You do however have a fair amount of astigmatism. Uncorrected astigmatism can make things seems blurry. You can get headaches if you use your eyes a lot without your glasses. In my experience if you were to get a pair of glasses and start wearing them after a couple of days you would prefer to have them on all the time.

Hello.. that really isn't too bad of an eyesight..
It may seem so because you have a different prescription in each eye which makes it strange.. all i know is that where is says -.25, PL is what that is.. i'm not sure how else to describe it.. I hope i helped!

i recently had something similar to this last wk, and i think the 1.25 means that ones weaker and needs stronger lenses to make it see easier and stop the struggling to be as good as the otehr eye and take the strain away, and the 0.25 means that one's the better eye out of the 2. not sure what pl means but it may stand for prescription lenses.
hope i was of some help.

seriously dude get the board put your ***
