One drop in each eye, maybe once or twice a week.At your young age I would not use it daily as it tends to dry the eye after long periods of use. Dry eyes can lead to other eye problems.

Yes you can. But you shouldn't use it often...it is like nose spray and beleive it or not you can get to where you have to use it.

ClearEyes or similar are good drops for getting the red out but you must not abuse them. I would use them maybe once or twice a month if that. Using them more often can cause your eyes to become addicted to the drops. Your eyes can become more red when you finally stop using them. Using artificial tears such as Refresh or Genteal is a better way to go. See your Ophthalmologist if the red continues.

I would never use Clear Eyes, and Visine is a joke except for only one:

VISINE L.R. (long-lasting redness relief) It's in the blue and yellow box and says it relieves redness for up to 6 hours.

I should know. I've used eye drops daily for most of my life and my eyes are still good. People tell you not to use eye drops daily, but what are you supposed to do with those red eyes? It looks terrible.

When I was younger, the brand I used was OcuClear. Unfortunately, they stopped making it, but Visine instantly turned up with a similar product. It's similar because it contains OXYMETAZOLINE HCL. This is the secret ingredient. The other eye drops do not contain oxymetazole. It soothes the eyes, gets rid of the redness immediately and it lasts for hours. I use eye drops in the morning and that's it for the day.

Check out the eye drop aisle in the stores. This particular Visine is the one that flies off the shelves while the other kinds are still there, fully stocked.
