My son who is of 4 years of age started `blinking' his eyes too frequently. !

Question: We are in Nigeria now & Shown to Eye Doctor available here, who confirmed Eyes are alright. Initially he started this whenever he feels shy (seeing new people etc.,). But in 2-3 months it has increased. Does any one experienced this before, Any remedy suggested? Thanks.

Blinking of the eyes is often a nervous tendency, and most likely what your child is experiencing. There are no visual problems.
When he feels more comfortable in his surroundings the problem will more than likely subside.
But, there could be the problem of it having become a habit; that you may have to work on. You can get through it, and it will be just fine.

Best Wishes To You

I have heard of this problem. I wouldn't reccomend this for a four-year old, but having an elastic band around your wrist and snapping it everytime you do it help stops weird flinches, or movements. Maybe when hes older you could try this. It worked for somebody I know.
Hope that helped:)

sir plz dont ask it here plz consult to doctor......u can find water in his eyes also....

Blinking is like breathing: It goes on whether you're aware of it or not. Several times a minute, your lids are busy swishing away dust, keeping your eyes moist and comfortable.

This slow lid action gears up to a quick flutter if your eyes are threatened in any way
