Eye pain with new glasses?!
Question: I just got glasses for one of my eyes Saturday. The left one is blank. I have to wear them all of the time and my eye muscle just feels painful. It was worse before when I didn't have the presciptioin, but now it just feels like the muscle. I've never had glasses before and these are transitions. Is my Eye suposed to hurt the first few day with these? When do you think it won't hurt anymore?

It sounds like we may have a similar situation. I only correct the vision in my left eye because my right eye has normal vision. When I first starting correcting the vision in my left eye. It hurt a little for the first few days. I reported the problem to my doctor and had it checked out. The muscles in my left eye felt overworked.
My doctor explained that my right eye had been compensating for the vision in my left eye for some time. My left was not accustomed to being used as much. The pain eventually went away as I started using my left eye more.
I still think that you should have it checked out to make sure everything is ok.

get back to the eye doctor, right away. do not play with your sight!! your sight is very important of your life to come
you should not be experienceing pain- I would go back to your Doctor and have the glasses verifed, and the refraction rechecked.
check with eye consultant. if u dont have short sight or.., dont use it. dont use others also.
