For people with contacts....?!

Question: For the people that have contacts (or had),
I have a few questions cause I just got contacts a few days ago.

1. How old were you when you got your contacts?
2. When you first got them, how long did it take to get them in and to get them out?
3. When you first started using them, when you put them in, did u hold open just your bottom eyelid, just your top, or both?

Any other tips or stuff about contacts would be awesome!

thanks!
?

i was 26 when i got them.
it took me a cpl months to get use to putting them in, but real easy to take them out.
i hold both top and bottom eyelids.

i always carry OPTI FREE EXPRESS REWETTING DROP, cause every now and then i can feel my eyes getting dry and i just use
1-2drops and i'm good.

I was 12 when I got my first contacts. Well, at first it took me a a while to take them in and out. Like 3 minutes to get them in, and probably 5 or so to get then out. (I have the hard contacts) I held both of my eyelids when I placed them in. :]
Just be sure to keep them clean and when putting them in, place the contacts on the very top of your finger because it's easier.

1. 16
2. about a minute gets better
3.both

1. 15
2. 5 mins, I started with freshlook contacts and those are harder to put in because they are bigger. I would ask for Acuvue.
3. Just the top

When I first started, my contacts use to pop out all the time. It gets better with time though because your eye actually starts changing shape for the contacts. Use a paper towel when drying your hands before you put them in, because a hand towel can leave fibers on your hands...then get into your eye. Good Luck!

I was about 13 or 14 when I first got contacts. It took a few tries and maybe 15 minutes to put them in at first but then i got used to it. To put them in, I put the contact on my pointer finger, pull my lower lid down with the middle finger of the same hand, and pull my upper lid up with a finger from my other hand. I also look up at the sky while putting them in so I don't have to see it coming.

I was 15 when I first got my contacts. It took me about a day or two to fully try and get them in and out of my eyes comfortably, And i just use my index finger to lift the top and middle finger to lift the bottom lid and put the contacts in. Also make sure you wash/rub your contacts well before you wear them, otherwise you will be prone to infections.

1) 14
2) when they were teaching me it was like 5 minutes to put them in and 15 minutes to take them out
3) both

1. I was about 12.
3. It took me about a week to really get the hang of it and know if they were going in the right way, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly.
3. When I first started using them I held both eyelids open and I still do.

They can be annoying at times but they're a good alternative if you don't like wearing glasses, though I would also recommend glasses for home/when you're not out in public to give your eyes a rest. It's not good to have contacts in all the time.

Hope I helped you out :]

1. thirteeen.
2. hmm i think it took like 15 minutes? but thats only for the first couple days.. now it takes me like 2 seconds.
3. i put them in whenever i wake up in the morning and you need to hold the top and bottom lid.
