I have been wearing rx sunglasses for years!.

I have regular eye exams and wear rx glasses but find my eyes now prefer the shaded lenses!.

The Opthamologist says it's OK but others say it will weaken my eyes relying on tinted glasses so much!.

Listen to your doctor! A lot of people get more light sensitive as they get older!. I have several patients who are elderly that prefer wearing a light colored polarized lenses all the time!. It will slow down any chances of cataracts too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As you grow older your eyes get weaker and need more protection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only thing you 'weaken' is your chances of developing cataracts, not to mention delaying the onset of macular degeneration!.

Sunglasses in no way whatsoever damage your eyes simply because they're tinted!. If you wear a too-dark pair and strain to see, it's temporarily uncomfortable, but your vision will go back to normal when you take them off- if you're not feeling discomfort, please keep wearing them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont think that using sunglasses weaken eyes but rather it protect the eyes from harmful sunraysWww@Answer-Health@Com
