Answers:
Insult!? No!. I take that as a compliment!. A nerd is smart (: I am a nerd!. Anyways, based on my dad's theory, you wear glasses because you spend too much time looking at objects too close, for example, computer, reading books, tv, etc!. He says by looking at these things farther and not squinting could possibly help you correct your eyesight a little by little!. I, on the other hand, didn't listen and I guess I've been looking at things wayyy too close!. I lost my glasses last year, and I've been squinting a lot so by the time I got new glasses, I found out my eyesight decreased even more!. So, while you're in school, yes, wear your glasses!. It may worsen if you squint!. When at home, watching TV, computer, and such, try to look at it from afar!. And don't forget, try spending time outside, rather than being cooped up inside all day!. It may improve your eyesight!.

HOPE I HELPED, BEST OF LUCK!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know about making your sight worse but I'm blind without my glasses!. Yeah, I'd be insulted by that too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah it iis insulting and if you do or dont wear your glasses your eye sight might continue to worsen depending on how much you grow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, not wearing your glasses will not make your eyesight worse!. Infact, it could possibly correct a little bit by itself!.

However, glasses provide you with the good vision you require so if I were you I would be wearing the glasses full time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it does
i dont wear my glasses and my eyes got worse
but only because i squint alotWww@Answer-Health@Com

Most of them slows the decay process in the eyes, so don't worry, it's probably not getting worse!. But some glasses are specially made, so consult your optometrist (eye doctor) for an accurate answer!.

The "little question": She was most likely asking an innocent question, not offending you!. And you should not take offense if somebody is not offending you!. You could tell her to "shut up", though, if you want!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think yes it can make your eyesight worse (depending on what is actually wrong with your eyes) because you might be struggling to focus on certain things!. It can also give you headaches and stuff if you don't wear them!. On the other hand, I need to take mine off for a moment sometimes to let me eyes have a rest, and if I don't do that often enough my eyesight gets worse!.

As with the girl asking about looking like a nerd, I wouldn't worry about her!. I guess there is still a little bit of that stereotype but mostly I think wearing glasses has become really fashionable now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends, for some people, glasses actually improve the shape of their eye, and in some cases, the reverse can also be true!.!. meaning that not wearing glasses can make your eyes worse!.!. however it depends on how severe your case is

For example, I can only see 1/2 ft infront of me with out my glasses on and when I dont wear my glasses, my eyes begin to hurt!. and the next time I put em on, my vision is worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is a popular misconception!. The only thing that will happen when you don't wear your glasses is you won't see clearly!. Glasses only bring light to a proper focus and give you clearer vision!. It won't make your vision better OR worse by not wearing them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tell her shes stupid for sayin that!!!!

i have no idea but i do knw that wearing contacts will not make your eyesight worse

but wearing glasses for like a couple of months will!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
