Why does it hurt your eyes to watch someone weld in person, but not when you see!

Question: Why does it hurt your eyes to watch someone weld in person, but not when you see it on television!?
Answers:
The welding light has a lot of UV which can burn the cornea and it is very bright!.

The television welding is just a picture, not the real thing!. TVs don't emit UV and the brightness is controlled!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because on tv, they tone down the brightness by controlling the brightness/contrast during the welding, as well as filters while filming/broadcasting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The intensity of welding light is undiminished in person but saturates ( reaches a maximum ) the ability of television to reproduce light intensity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
