Can my GP check the health of my eyes or should i go to an optometrist?!
Question: Can my GP check the health of my eyes or should i go to an optometrist!?
Answers:
The optometrist has all the latest equipment and expertise for an eye examination!.
Your GP is a general practitioner, but is not a specialist!. So I guess the one with the most knowledge etc, has to be the optometrist!.

The optometrist is the best way!. The GP will have some rudimentary knowledge, and is probably the best option if you suspect your problem/query is linked to another medical condition, but if not then why not go straight to the specialist who deals with eyes everyday!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
A routine eye check is probably most appropriately carried out by an optician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
