Answers:
They are most often not the same!.

There could be a 0!.25 , 0!.50 or even 0!.75 correction for astigmatism in the glasses Rx that won't show up on a contact Rx!.

For instance your glasses could be:

-2!.00 -0!.50 X 90!.!.!.but your contact Rx would be just a -2!.25 SPH

If you used the -2!.25 in your glasses , it wouldn't work!.

Probably 75% of the time, the Rx won't be the same for both!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no its not the prescription for contacts is lower than the one for glasses since contacts your gonna have put in your eyes!!! and glasses are a lil bit away from your eyes!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The numbers may be the same, but one prescription is for glasses and another may be for contact lenses!. What ever the doctor writes is what it is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No they are not the same!. I believe glasses have a higher prescription that contacts, but don't quote me on that!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
