Cracked and chipped contacts?!
Question: Cracked and chipped contacts!?
I've started on contacts a few days ago and today just as I was practising on them, I noticed my right lens has a crack and chip on it!. What caused this and will there be any risks if I was to continue wearing it!?

If you tell your optometrist and show it to them they may give you another one!. Don't wear it, open a new one instead!. New wearers sometimes damage their lenses accidentally as they need to handle them much more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if there is a rip in your contact you should not put it back in your eye!. actually if it does not look perfect you should not put it in your eye!. if a contact gets dry it can crack!. a rip can be caused by being worn too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Do Not wear them!. There are damaged!. It is perfect conditions for eye irritation which could lead to infection!. Pay attention to your eyes and if any sign of infection, discontinue use!. my sister wore old contacts and had a scratch in her eye that got severally infected and ended up almost losing her eye!. She needed an cornea transplant, not a pleasant event!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
