Question: Sty in my eye the pus is leaking out in my eye is this ok!?
Sorry I know its frose, but I have had this big sty for a few days, (Im suppose to go to the Dr for it tomorow because it is is big) The Dr said in the meantime, no matter what dont touch it or try to squeeze pus out of it!. However just now I feel it opened up and pus is coming out and leaking into my eye, dont you think I should rub it with a rag to try to clean this pus up or just let it sit in my eye!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

gentle wipe any discharge from your eye area!. Don't put any pressure on it!. The doctor will give you an ointment or drops that will help!. Follow the directions!. I have had stys so I understand how the urge to rub it is!. I used a clean q-tip to apply the ointment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
don't squeeze , just remove what comes out with a clean cotton swab like the ones for ears

Take a clean wash cloth with warm water and place on lid for 15 minutes at a time!. This will accelerate the healing process!. Also, if you are a soft contact lens wearer, don't wear them when there is pus on the eye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
