any surgery has risks when my husband had it done his eyes were a little sore and he had some night glare but it cleared up!. went without glasses for almost 10 years now he's past 50 and needs reading glasses not bad, don't worry too much do what the dr tells you and enjoy the freedom from glasses!Www@Answer-Health@Com
