This is caused by the weight of your glasses on your nose!. Sometimes an adjustment can help, but you can pretty well count on having some type of mark on your nose from your nosepads!. Sometimes a different type or size nosepad helps!. If the nosepads are too small, the weight of the frame is not evenly distributed and it will cause it to press in more!. Pretty much everyone who wears glasses on a full-time basis gets some type of mark on their nose!. Next time you get a new pair, look for something that is extremelly light weight and ask for the thinnest lightest lenses available; this will help cut down on the weight of your specs, and thus cut down on the indentations on your nose, although, I doubt you'll be able to get rid of them 100%!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

contacts would obviously be the easiest, most surefire way, but you could also get lighter frames (ie, plastic frames instead of metal), lighter lenses (they make ultra-lightweight lenses now), or choose glasses that don't have nose pads but rather just rest gently on the bridge of your nose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It probably means that your glasses are not fitting your right!. Just try readjusting the nosepads with a little gentle force to get them to bend more away from each other!. I had the same problem when i got my first pair too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Jen, if you wear glasses most of your waking hours, the dents won't go fully away unless you lighten up, literally selecting glasses based on their weight!.

I had the dents for years, but my present glasses just happen to be very light, and the dents disappear about a half hour after I take them off!.

A slight adjustment in fit can lessen the dents if they're even slightly painful!. Don't hesitate to return to the glasses seller!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your glasses are out of shape they will leave marks on your nose as well as heavy glasses will!. Try to have them adjusted first and if no relief consider a titanium frame or drilled rimless!. (Just don't stab the optician if it doesn't work!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
