Would wearing glasses or contacts make it better/the same or worse?!

Question: Would wearing glasses or contacts make it better/the same or worse!?
I have heard from a few people that wearing glasses or contacts makes your eyesight worse!. Is that true!? If not would it make it stay the same as in, not getting any worse, or better!? And also does squinting your eyes to see something, reading in the dark, using the computer in the dark, using the computer a lot, and/or sitting close to the computer/TV make your eyesight worse!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, there are many myths about the links between the wearing of glasses and the progression of sight!. Wearing glasses/contacts would just make you see clear!.

If you don't wear them as required, then yes because you'll make your eyes work harder than they need to, straining them!. This also applies to squinting, reading in the dark and all the other factors you've mentioned!. It is important to note that for eyes to go worse, the factors are not limited to the above!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the only time it could hinder your sight is if you are given the wrong prescription!. glasses/contacts are meant to improve and correct your vision, and yes, all those things you listed will make your eyes tired and not work properly!. make an appointment with your optometrist (eye doctor) and get fitted with the right prescription and your life will improve exponentially! also!.!.!. if you want to permanently improve your vision and reading skills, you should ask about vision therapy!. my dad did it with me and i no longer have to wear glasses or contacts except for reading (after 9 years of constant wear!)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you feel that you are stressing your eyes when looking at something which projects it's own light - e!.g, a computer, play station, TV - without glasses on, the chances are it will get worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it only gives you symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
