Transistion Lenses?!
Question: Transistion Lenses!?
I am getting a new pair of glasses in a few days, and my dad said if I want I can get transition lenses!. Now it sounds cool and I really want to get them!.!.!. but I want to do my research first!. I know they are about 50 more dollars then clear lenses, thats why I would like if anyone could, who has them or knows anything about them, could give me feedback!.!.!. good or bad! I don't want to cut my dad out of 50 dollars if they really don't work!. So just give me all the information you can on them! Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had them on my last pair of glasses, and honestly I just didn't like them!. it was just annoying to have them changing every time I walked outside!. one of my major complaints was when it was overcast, it was dark enough for me not to want them, but bright enough for them to still change, and it would just simply annoy me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Day to day I like mine and really don't notice the change unless it is very bright outside ,then when I go inside they remain dark for a few minutes,making it hard to see!.!.!.my only real complaint is that I still need a seperate pair of sunglasses to drive with when the sun is low and in my eyes, because they don't darken in a car!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some people love them!.!.!.some don't!.
They definately make a good sunglass outside!.!.!. but even when you don't want it sometimes!.

i hate them!. first off, they dont work when i'm driving at sun-set and the sun is directly infront of me (which is why i got them)!. apparently the glass in my windsheild has some UV protection and it effects the glasses!. another problem is that if i'm driving with my window down only THAT sides lense will darken!. and sometimes it takes like 15 minutes for it to get clear again, which is horrible when i go from outside to a fairly dark building (like on campus, i can never see anything for the first 15 minutes of class cause i have to take the glasses off!) another thing i dont like, is its a greenish tint, so i think it just looks weird anyways and it looks HORRIBLE on my skin-tone!.
but, if you're outside a LOT, then i could see it being worth it!. i only got it because i have to drive at sun-set almost every day and thought it would be good since the sun is always directly in front of me!. i wish my dr would have told me that it wouldnt work for that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
