Peripheral vision how can I test mine for normallity?!

Question: Peripheral vision how can I test mine for normallity!?
I practise martial arts, wear glasses for short sightedness and if someone kicks/ punches me curving in I never see it and get hit!. Okay it might be down to not be very good at my art yet I wonder if my eyes are letting me down!. If you are wondering it is about spiritual and physical development - yes you get hit but its a whole big subject don't take that one bit in isolation!. ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Stand up and face forwards!. Without moving your head bring your hand up in front of you and the move it around to the side of your head!. DO NOT move your eyes or head, keep facing forwards!.
Your hand should be way past your head, back behind your eyes before you loose sight of it!.
If you loose sight of it any earlier, you need to see an optician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to have a viual field test done in order to see if you have any peripheral vision loss!. This test is generally performed on glaucoma patients and for people who have a ptosis (drooping eyelid) but I'm sure you can request a test be done!. Your insurance will most likely NOT cover this test, since it would be elective, unless it was found that you have a medical diagnosis for requiring a visual field test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call up ophthalmologists in your area and see who owns the equipment to do the 'clicker' visual field tests!.

Around here, my ophthalmologist and retinal specialist both do not own one!. My neuro-ophthalmologist does!.

It's a short test, about 8 minutes!. My neuro-op charges 175$ for the test, and of it, the insurance covers 110!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to go to your eye doctor and tell this to him!. Surely he will ask an exam called: Manual Visual Field!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
