Contacts are more expensive but definitely worth it, (you're looking at about $300 per year without insurance)!.!.!.I suggest trying daily contacts!.!.!.that way you don't have to worry about cleaning, or if you lose one!.!.!.Keep your glasses so you can wear them whenever you don't feel like wearing contacts!.!.!.You can also ask your eye doctor for a sample set to see how you like them before you spend the $300Www@Answer-Health@Com

Glasses are less expensive and easier in my opinion but I LOVE wearing contacts!. I've had glass since I was 12 and contacts since I was 13!.

Different brands of contacts cost you different amounts!. I first started out with the kind you keep for 6 months and then get a new pair and they cost about $60 per pair!. Then I switched to Acuvue which is the most common brand (you throw away after 2 weeks)and they cost $200 for a years supply but you can get rebates from places like 1800 Contacts!. They usually can give you a $40 mail in rebate!. Like somebody else said, Focus Dailies are really nice and I use them for camping trips!. You throw them away each day!. They will run you about $300 per year!. All prices are without insurance!.

I actually have a prescription for Acuvue and Dailies because I wear both!. I go to America's Best and the doctors I have are so nice!. They write you out a prescription for both and don't charge you extra for extra prescriptions!. I'm on their 5 year plan that you pay something like $199 for five years and you get all your eye exams for free!. Considering most places cost you $79 per eye exam, it's a killer deal!.

Hope that helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i use disposable contacts, mine are fortnightly, but if i take them out every night and look after them they last over a month!. these cost me $99 for 6 sets, lasts me about 6 months or longer!.

in the long run glasses can be cheaper, but they get scratched and break easily, (mine do anyway!) so contacts are better because you just open a new set if anything happens to them!.

i would recommend contacts, you can see better, and you don't have the 'blind spot' out the side of your glasses!. i find i have clearer vision with contacts, and it only takes a minute or so in the morning and at night to look after them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends on what kind of insurance you have and what your eye condition is!.

my contacts cost me right at 100dollars for a 6months supply without insurance!. I've got really bad astigmatism too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
