Fixing foggy eyeglasses?!

Question: Fixing foggy eyeglasses!?
I have had my current glasses far too long, and am in the process of getting new ones/contacts!. My current glasses, however, have very foggy lenses!. They distort color!.
My problem is this: I am going to a concert on Sunday and I'd really like to get the fullest experience possible!.
Is there any way that I can get rid of this "foggy-ness"!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Or if you had anti reflective coating on them, it has gone bad and/or scratched to the point that the lenses have become somewhat opaque!. Unfortunately, you will be looking at a foggy concert!. If you did have anti reflective coating and you got it on the new ones ask about a warranty!. Most are for at least a year, and if you notice the same thing happening, bring them in right away!. Same thing goes if you just have scratch resistant coated lenses, like Footprintz said!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is most likely the anti scratch coating that has become defective!.!.!.it happens from within the lens!. The coating penetrates the lens to some extent , so it isn't just a problem on the surface!.

Sorry , nothing will fix it when that happens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's hard to find some where that removes that AR coating!. You should try contacts!. Alot of places can get you in those quicker and less expensive than buying new glasses!. Depending on your RX that is, the less the astigmatism the better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

SOME good eyeglass shops that have a lab, can strip the AR coating off in about 15 minutes, you will have to call around!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ummm clean them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
