Question: What are the effects of low eye-bal pressure in the long-term!?
My eyes will get really red and it hurst a little, but that's pretty much it!.!.!.!. it goes away after a little while!.!.!.
Can this cause anything serious in the future!?
I have an appointemtn with a doctor soon, but I was hoping that some of you guys would know something!.
PS: I had an ulcer due to overusing contacts (don't use them anymore) about 1 year ago!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hmm!.!.!. in theory, your eye balls may get deflated! Yes, deflated like a balloon!.
In practical that never really happens!.
If your eyeball pressure (scientific term = Intraocular pressure) remains low and there are trauma to the eye, the eye doctor may suspect a penetrating eye injury i!.e!. someone stuck a stick thru your eyeball and left a gaping hole! Fluids are drained off from the eye and that results in low eye pressure!.
In this case, you will need to do a ultrasonic scan or MRI to rule out ocular injuries!.
If there are no history of trauma, it is probably OK to have low eye pressure!. Low pressure is definitely better than high pressure, which will increase the chance of getting Glaucoma
