My friend wears contact lenses, and he allergies are SO bad today (& yesterday), she just wants to tear out her eyeballs - she insists it has nothing to do with her contacts - she been fine all night last night and the night before inside her house with her contacts in!.

Clear eyes is bad, bad stuff for healthy eyes, and it's even more dangerous for eyes that already have problems!.
First, vasoconstrictors have a 'rebound'- if you use them, your eyes get redder, you keep using them for relief, you make the problem worse!.!.!. cycle goes on!.
Most most important, they often contain BAC or benzalkonium chloride as a preservative!. This stuff is dangerous!. It can cause corneal damage or disrupt the tear film- at best, it can cause the irritation that makes you reach for another drop too soon!.
She needs to talk to her doctor about allergy options, but in the mean time, she shouldn't have her contacts on- they can serve as a further source of irritation!. But I must stress, neither you nor her should be using 'get the red out' drops!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, she can only use it if its the one that says for contact lens use!. if she needs to she can put the drops in wait at least 5 minutes preferably 10 and then put her contacts in!. if she puts the drops in while wearing contacts the chemicals will stay in the contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
eh you probably shouldn't but when i had contacts in i would use it!.!.!.!.only if i had to tho!.!.!.she should really use the clear eyes for contacts that'd be best but if shes having a big problem with dry eyes theres no harm in using it onceWww@Answer-Health@Com

No, but Visine makes eye drops for contact wearers!. That's what I use, and it works great!Www@Answer-Health@Com
