Question: Possible to add anti-reflective glare after the fact!?
I just got some computer glasses!. It was my first time and they asked if I wanted anti-glare lenses for $40 more!. I figured this was some sort of frivolous add-on!. Now I'm seeing all sorts of glare and am wondering if it's possible to add this option somehow!? Is there some sort of spray, etc!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes , in most cases it can be added on after they are already made!.
It isn't just a spray , it is a very complicated process done in a vacuum!.!.!.in a machine that costs close to a half million dollars!.
There are several layers!.!.!.16 I believe!.
Thing is, they are most likely single vision lenses , so the anti reflection will cost more than 40!.00 to add on now!. It is cheaper when it is done at the same time, because they can already come that way , factory coated!.

Yes!. Antireflective coatings can be put on after your purchase!. You will not be able to put the "cadillac" coating called Crizal Alize but there are other AR coatings that you can have put on!. My favorite would be Sharp View!. I would be hesitant to put on any AR coating that costs just $40!. This indicates to me it is an old technology inferior quality AR coating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Anti-reflective lens are a god- send, aren't they!? But it has been my experience that coating a lens after it has been used is a disaster!. If you have ANY scratches on the lens(even minor ones) you have a major problem!.But what do I know!? I work in a optical lab!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
