Help putting on contacts?!
Question: Help putting on contacts!?
i just got contacts 2day 4 the forst time and at the doctors office i put them on it took me about 2 hrs but i did it now at home i cant put them on help!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Calm down and be patient!. I know you can do it!. It does take a bit of time when you first started but this should be over within a week!. I remember I was like you as well!.
Just make sure your index finger is a bit wet and have the contact sitting on the tip then hold your upper lid with your middle finger and the bottom with your other middle finger then slowly take the contact towards your eye(s)!. The contact should take suction and cling on if you do it right!. Don't blink or you will fold up the contact, requiring you to start over!.
Try looking to the side or stare ahead while you're doing it and don't look directly at your finger tip or this will trigger your blink reflex!. I find looking ahead easier when putting them in!. You will need to do trial and error and find out which method is best for you!.

I was in the 8th grade when I got my first pair of contacts and it was really difficult for me to put them in at first!. The eye doctor had me look to the side, rather than looking at my finger coming toward my eye!. If you're right-handed, hold your eye open with your index finger and thumb on your left hand!. The contact should be on your right index finger!. While holding your eye open, look off to the right or left and place the contact on your eye using your right hand!. Pull your hand away and quickly look straight ahead so that the contact settles onto your eye!. That's the way I've done it for 12 years now!

It just takes practise, dont try for too long (ie make your eyes sore)!. Try for a short time & if you cant get them in, leave it for a while and try again!. Sometimes the more you try the harder it is, so I suggest taking breaks!. Believe me it will become easier!.
As long as you optician has shown you correctly, you should get it soon!.

Keep trying!. its difficult at first!. It took my sister weeks to be able to put them in without spending hours first!.
As for me, I gave up, but thats mostly because I've got over reactive reflexes in my eyes!. If someone comes within a foot of poking me in the eye, I automatically close my eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my mom once tried to put in contacts and they got stuck in her eye!.So she asked a docter to get them out!.My point is to return them and get glasses!.Or you can ask a docter to put them in for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
