Substitute for contact lense cleaning solutions?!
Question: Substitute for contact lense cleaning solutions!?
I need to take out my contacts cuz they are itching really bad!. I have the case but no solution to put them in!. Think I could just have them soak in my eye drop solution!?

The drops aren't working getting the itch out and I need to take them out but I don't wanna have to throw them away!.
Also they are the soft lenses Acuvue Advanced!.
Anything I could soak them in in the cases!?

You can put your contacts in the eye drops but if they are making your eyes itch, you need to get rid of them!. Remember that these drops, if they are for contact wearers, will not hurt the contacts but they will not clean the contacts either!. Itching eyes are not normal and should not be ignored!. Over wearing contact lenses and not cleaning or disposing of them can permanently damage your eyes!. You can develop infections or even worse, scarring!. Scarring would prevent you from wearing contacts again and possibly cause you to have to have surgery!. Throw the contacts away and get new ones!. Keep them clean!. Saline is an option but the thing to remember is they DO NOT disinfect!. You can temporarily put them in saline for a short period before moving them into the solution!.
