Seeing Out Of Two Eyes At The Same Time Rather Than One?!

Question: Seeing Out Of Two Eyes At The Same Time Rather Than One!?
Hello,

I had a question to ask regarding my eyes!. Well, I only see out of one eye at a time!. Meaning, that I only concentrate on one eye while the other is basically ignored!. Some people have this condition and I was wondering if there was any exercises or treatments I could do to help me be able to use both my eyes at the same time rather than just one at a time!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That really depends on the cause, and the visual capabilities of each eye as to whether they could be made to work together!.

Only an eye Dr!. after examining your eyes could really answer that for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a similar thing!. I consciously choose which eye to favor and the other eye becomes almost like peripheral vision!. Also my eyes are slightly out of alignment so whatever is in the direct center of the un-favored eye can be a distraction!. Nothing can cure this!. To help the matter, I'd suggest two things:
1) meditation to help control your mind, and;
2) concentrate on two objects, one visible only to the right eye, and one only to the left eye!.

These will help you to be conscious of both images your eyes are seeing, and might help you reconcile the two!.

I hope you have better luck than me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're noticing that you're using one eye most of the time, try patching that eye for a few hours a day to force yourself to use the other eye!. It will help strengthen it!. I have a "lazy eye" and this helps a lot with controlling it!. I also used to be an optician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

We all have one eye that is the primary vision instrument!. The other eye is less dominant but still operational!. The less dominant eye enables us to see in 3D!. With two eyes we can see depth and determine if something is closer or farther than something else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
