Do i need to wear my glasses all the time?!
Question: Do i need to wear my glasses all the time!?
I'm 15 years old and i've had glasses for half a year and different people are telling me different things!. One person says to wear your glasses all the time, another will say to wear them as little as possible because i'm near sighted!. My left eye is my dominant eye (100) and my right eye isn't as good (125)!. I've only seen my optomitrist once!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was told that I shouldn't be wearing them all the time!.
My eyes got worse!.
Now they have said that I should have been wearing them all the time, and my eyes would have stabilised!.
Most opticians say different things though!.

But wearing them all the time isn't going to be doing any harm either, so it comes down to simply what you prefer!.
Some people with your myopic Rx would only wear them for boardwork, TV, cinema, etc, and and others would wear them almost constantly, but take them off for closework, and some leave them on all the time!.
One major advantage of wearing them all the time is that you know where they are! They're not in the other bag/jacket when you DO want them!.!.!. and they tend to get broken less when worn, too, compared to what they suffer when left lying around!.
There are rare exceptions when it is important that glasses should or should not be worn at particular times, mainly when there are issues with the eyes working as a pair!. You prescriber should make this clear if this applies!.
Otherwise, your call!.

I think your doctor would have the answers to this!.!.!. most people who need glasses are nearsighted!. I first got mine when I was 18 months old, and I always had to wear them!. Not wearing them can lead to really, and I mean REALLY bad headaches from eye strain!. If you don't like wearing them, switch to contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

optometrists make individual contacts for your type of condition, where one is stronger than the other!. Make an apt!. with your doctor again to see what he thinksWww@Answer-Health@Com
