My wifes was not so bad till this time!.!.!.now they are o!.d -6!.50 cyl is -0!.50 axis 025 now o!.s is -6!.50 cyl is 5p!.h!.!.!.now is the bad for ones eyes !.!.!.!?/////will her galsses be thick!.!.!.and last what does 5 ph mean!?!?//Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your wife is -6!.50 short sighted, the lens thickness will depend on which type of frame she picks!. The lense for a short sighted person is thickness at both edges!.
I am +5!.50 long sighted & I the thickness is more in the centre of the lens!. I always pay to have thinner lens (which is expensive)!.
The optician will be able to show you the thickness of the lens & also show you how thin the lens can be!. I have just paid out for thinner lens which is 1!.67!.

5ph is bad handwriting for sph, which means sphere ( no cyl)!.
