Is it dangerous to wear a ripped contact lens?!


Question: Is it dangerous to wear a ripped contact lens!?
I just ripped a tiny part of the edge of it!.

yes, I wear contacts for rugby!. A couple of years ago I damaged a lens and had to play on, the result was two weeks of discomfort, medicated drops and an eye patch!. Eyes are incredibly sensitive!.!.if you damage a lens, get new ones and remember to wear glasses as much as possible!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Throw it away!. It'll irritate your eyes, make them red, sore!.!.!. Also don't wear them to bed!. I did once and had to throw them away because all day long they would hurt my eyes, make them bloodshot, and it was almost impossible to see anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, and it hurts like hell!. My lens once tore just a bit in the edge but I didn't realize this and continued wearing it!. It was really painful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
