Eye pain, throbbing sensation forehead and cheek?!

Question: Eye pain, throbbing sensation forehead and cheek!?
Back in March 2008, I started experiencing pain in my right eye!. It feels like the eye muscles are strained; or sometimes like a sharp object is touching a nerve behind the eye, or as though something is irritating the eyeball itself (lower part)!. There is pain when moving my right eye left to right, and a burning sensation around both eyes and dryness of the eye lid (both eyes)!. Sometimes a pain or numbing sensation creeps into the right side of my forehead and the right side of my cheek!.

In November 2007, I got a new pair of glasses with a new prescription!. Optometrist said the change was not significant, but I wanted a new RX for a new pair of glasses!. Everything seemed fine until March when the pain stared, of which I've never experienced before!. Been visiting the optometrist and soon an opthamologist!. Don't know what is wrong!.!.!.but something IS wrong!! Any advice!?!? Answers!?!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The most common cause of unilateral eye pain is a tension or muscle type of headache!. This actually starts at the back of the neck and can cause pain in the ear, temple, top of the head or the area around the eye!. Their are other causes less common and an ophthalmologist can sort it out for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it is related to optical nerve dysfunction, which causes either pain and dryness!. You need to take B complex vitamins, and Vit A!.
Could be related to wind blowing from your car window, that weakens the nerve, or any other exhausting cause!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should see your Doctor!., It is the best thing!. But, I just think you might be having a sinus issue!. How about an appointment with and Ear Nose and Throat Doctor as well!. It might be a s simjple as a sinus infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
