It sounds like that lens may be damaged in some way!. Because contacts sit right up against the eyeball, it only takes a single speck of dust or a microscopic little scratch or dent on the surface of the lens for it to feel like you have sand in your eye!. Wearing a damaged lens will seriously irritate the eye and may even cause an eye infection!. It is often impossible, just by looking at the lens, to see tiny imperfections which may in fact exist!.

You should NEVER wear contacts if either or both of your eyes are already sore - doing so will only irritate them further!. For the moment, leave the lenses in their solution and get yourself some soothing eye drops!. If these don't bring you relief, then you may have an infection in that eye in which case you need to see a doctor!.

I also hate to say it, but the non-prescription coloured contacts that you buy over the counter are often not terribly well made in the first place!. Contacts really have to fit precisely and perfectly to be really comfortable, and if the lenses are not well made, this is not going to occur!.

If you really want to wear coloured contacts for cosmetic reasons, I'd recommend that you save your dollars and get a pair professionally fitted by an Optician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe it's the fact that they are store bought!.!.!.those can irritate your eye!. even if you are just wearing them for fun, you should still get them from an eye doctor!. and of course, solution is always best for cleaning contacts!. you have to make sure that you wash your hands and rinse the contacts with the solution before you put them on!. you should go to an eye doctor just in case!. it may get worse if you don't get it checked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like you didn't get your contacts from an optometrist!. that was a bad idea, get rid of them and never wear them again!. and stop worrying about your eye color, natural eye colors make you who you are!. I would freak out if I found out my girlfriend had different natural colored eyes!. do yourself a favor and go to the optometrist if your eyes get worse tomorrow!. don't mess around with your eyes, i would rather lose one of my arms than lose my eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

WATER IS NOT A SUITABLE LIQUID FOR CONTACTS !!!!Your optician would have explained this to you!.

You should have bought solution at the time!. you will have dried out your eyes because water is not a slippery lubricant!. The contact has then iritated the surface of your eye!.

You need to stop wearing your contacts for 3 days - let your eye settle down!.

For G sake - use the proper solution from here on - thats why they make it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would suggest to get thee to an opthalmologist / optician / doctor as fast as you can!. There are bacteria that can infect your eye that can cause blindness, especially as you've had them in water!. Check out http://www!.abc!.net!.au/7!.30/stories/s4101!.!.!.
You don't want to lose your eyesightWww@Answer-Health@Com

regulare water dryies out your contacts!. and sense they are store bought they are probably not the right size!. and are pretty much ruined now since they were in water for a couple of daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you just bought them at a store, then they weren't sized right to your eye (everyone's eye is different) and you could actually go blind!.

I'm not lying!.

Go see your optometrist now!Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you didn't put it in right or it got dirty like piece of dirt got in itWww@Answer-Health@Com
