Your vision will not get worse by over using a computer or video games!. A person's prescription is mainly determined by the shape of the eye and some other internal parts of the eye!. However, you will experience some eye strain and headaches and possibly some neck strain due to the excess concentration!. It can be resolved by having excellent lighting near your computer, eliminate distracting glare, and take a 10 minute break for every hour of use!. Sometimes it does help to have a prescribed pair of glasses for computer use!. They will be prescribed for a certain distance (about 18-30 inches) and contain either an anti reflective lens or you can get alightly colored polarized lens if you use a monitor instead of a flat screen!.
If you are worried about going from 20/20 vision to 20/30 or 20/40, it won't be due to your computer!. But do take precautions to protect your eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well starring at the computetr for too long, does strain your eyes, i dont think your vision will go down, but it will put extra strain on them, try getting a filter for your computer, its like 20 or 30 dollars and you just place it over the face of your computer, and it will dim the brightness of it, so it dosent strain so much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no!. It comes with age or you are born with it!. But, you still don't want to sit too close to the screen because it will tire your eyes and make them hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes that can cause your eyes sight damage also if you need glasses and don't wear them or if you don't need glasses and do wear them all of those can cause your eye sight to go downWww@Answer-Health@Com
