If you are color blind...?!

Question: If you are color blind!.!.!.!?

Hey so I was wondering if being color blind means you cant be a fire fighter!. I am not all the way color blind, I cant see Green, Orange, Purple and some Yellows and I get black/gray/white confused!. I still see color just not the same as everyone else!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that you should talk to your local fire departments to see if it is disqualifying!. If certain items of equipment are color coded, dangerous circumstances require quick accurate response!.

I am colorblind, but served 20 plus years in the Navy!. There were a number of positions, that I could not fill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
