Answers:
If she's avoided the deafness and skeletal problems that are sometimes associated alongside the ocular feature of Duane's Retraction Syndrome, then there is little to worry about except getting the best functional/cosmetic management for her eye movement issue, which may benefit from stabismus surgery at some point, or may not need any intervention at all, depending on individual assessment!.

Apart from a few career choices which demand good binocular vision, it's not a seriously restricting problem!.
(about one person in 30 has only one good eye for any of a variety of reasons: it's very common!.)

But I'm not sure about "normal": personally, I have no ambition to be normal and don't have it as an objective!.
Neither Albert Einstein or Carl Lewis rate as normal!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is usually hereditary and due to a missing nerve in the head!. Usually people function quite fine with this and no intervention is required!. Read more at the sites above as they discuss it with more detail!. you really should study up on it and keep up with developements as she gets older!. It may or may not be an issue, but seeing and eye doctor regularly is important for her eye health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Duane's syndrome is a benign disorder!. It will not cause any life long problems for her!. Since she cannot move her left eye to the right!.!.!.she will see double images when she tries to look at something to the right!. But she will learn quickly that to alleviate the issue she only needs to turn her head to the right to see things on that side!. Voila! Tah Dah! that's all!.!.!.she'll be a head-turner! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
